Services Offered:
We focus on providing a confidential mental health counselling service, and work with individuals with complex mental health issues to provide counselling and support services utilising evidence informed approaches within our scope of practice. This also includes psychoeducation and psychosocial support planning for a range of issues.
Using a range of modalities, we are able to use evidence-based, solution focussed best practice to choose interventions that are most likely to bring about sustained and positive change. At The Yellow Couch Counselling, we are trauma informed, person centred, holistic and culturally competent and strive to provide psychosocial support planning using a multi session format to best suit your needs.
Sessions can be one off to discuss immediate issues, short term or long term. It's entirely up to you, how often you'd like to attend, and what you'd like to discuss.

Our Fees
We provide a free 15 minute consultation to understand your needs and expectations, to make sure we are able to support you on your mental health journey.
Counselling sessions
Standard Counselling sessions run for 50 mins
Cost - $145 per session
NDIS clients accepted (self managed and plan managed)
Cost - $130 per session
Payment is required 48hrs prior to the day of the appointment unless otherwise arranged. Payment can be made via Halaxy, PayPal (PayPal.Me/theyellowcouchcouns), or Bank Transfer.
Our cancellation policy is that you will be charged $30 of the session fee for cancellations made within 48 hours prior to the session. If cancelled within 24 hours of the session or a 'No show', you will be charged $50 of the session fee.
